Our Children’s History Days are a series of events for parents and kids meant to highlight an aspect of life in St. Louis in the 1860′s.
Children’s History Day: Games and Recreations – Saturday June 16th from 11am-3pm
Ever wonder what people did for fun before cable, movies, video games and computers? On Saturday June 16 you can learn about the games and pastimes of the Victorian Era including croquet, badminton and lots of fun parlor games!
Our art activity area will have coloring for younger children and several period crafts like making your own puzzles and shadow puppets for your very own family theatricals.
We’ll even be putting on our very own shadow puppet shows in the Mansion at 12pm and 2pm.
This is a free event for kids. Children must be supervised by an adult.
